ThermoPlus is an innovative functional coating with added value. Thanks to its reflective membrane technology, it automatically regulates the indoor climate and noticeably increases living comfort. After application, the coating forms a reflective membrane.
Summer heat protection
In summer, the climate-active paint absorbs excess moisture from the air, stores it in the membrane and balances it out with drier room air. This creates evaporative cooling, which cools the wall surfaces and noticeably lowers the room temperature – without the need for air conditioning. Heat from outside cannot penetrate unhindered into the interior, creating a pleasant freshness.
Winter thermal insulation
In winter, ThermoPlus minimizes heat loss and saves heating costs, electricity and energy. The room heat is stored, evenly distributed in the membrane and reflected back into the room, just like in a tiled stove. At the same time, the breathable paint reduces convection currents, minimizes thermal bridges and balances out temperature differences between the floor and ceiling. The result is noticeably greater thermal comfort.
In addition, the energy-saving coating helps regulate fluctuations in humidity; the actual indoor humidity level depends on how the space is used and ventilated.
