Thanks to its fine grain size and low bulk density, IsoTex F50 is a particularly easy-to-apply smooth plaster. With a consumption of just 0.65 kg/m² per mm layer thickness, it is easy to apply and produces a homogeneous, smooth surface. The plaster can be applied manually with a trowel or mechanically with a sprayer. IsoTex F50 is suitable for plastering brick, concrete, reinforced concrete, aerated concrete, wood and metal substrates indoors and outdoors
ClimateCoating® IsoTex system – The energy-saving trio for smooth façades
IsoTex F50 is applied to the IsoTex R70 thermal insulation render and forms the final, smooth render layer. After drying, the surface can be coated with ClimateCoating® functional paints, such as ThermoProtect for façades. With this system combination, energy savings of 15 to 40 % can be achieved for heating and air conditioning.
This is made possible by the interaction between the thermal insulation render and the reflective membrane technology contained in the ClimateCoating® functional paint. The façade coating acts like an intelligent membrane: when it rains, it only absorbs a limited amount of water without passing it on to the masonry behind it. After a short period of saturation, the membrane closes so that no further water is absorbed – regardless of the duration of the rainfall. This keeps the amount of evaporation low. As with exterior renders according to EN 998-1, the coating can be classified as water-repellent.
Der Fassadenanstrich ThermoProtect ist zudem äußerst widerstandsfähig gegenüber Umwelteinflüssen wie UV-Strahlung und saurem Regen. Seine antistatische Wirkung reduziert die Staubanhaftung deutlich. Es gibt dokumentierte Fassaden, bei denen selbst nach über 20 Jahren der membranartige Anstrich intakt, rissfrei und voll funktionsfähig ist – und somit die energiesparende Wirkung dauerhaft erhalten bleibt (s.
