IsoTex R70 is a very lightweight, mineral thermal insulation plaster for exterior (and interior) use. It is characterized by a high structural thermal resistance and helps to limit heat leakage from the building. At the same time, the render – especially in combination with the ThermoProtect façade coating – supports the drying process of the masonry after rain. The thermal conductivity T1 of Isotex R70 is 0.077 < 0.10 W/mK.
Due to the grain size, it is a relatively soft render. At 4.0-4.5 kg/m², it is lightweight on the façade and does not require any anchoring aids. The thermal insulation render is applied mechanically or manually and is easy to handle. IsoTex R70 is easy to apply with a trowel or sprayer.

The problem: Exterior walls – with or without paint – absorb water, the more the longer it rains. The water has to get out of the wall again. This is done by evaporation. The evaporative cooling extracts large amounts of energy, which must be compensated for by the heating.
The solution: thermal insulation system plus reflective membrane technology
The ClimateCoating® coating, which acts like a membrane, absorbs some water when it rains without passing it on to the wall behind. The membrane then blocks and no matter how long it rains, no more water is absorbed. This keeps the amount of evaporation to a minimum. As a result, the coating can be described as “water-repellent”, analogous to exterior plasters in accordance with EN 998-1.
The coating (ThermoProtect) is also very resistant to environmental influences such as UV radiation or acid in rainwater. The antistatic effect significantly reduces dust adhesion. Coated façades have been documented on which the membrane-like coating is still intact and free of cracks even after more than 20 years, so that the energy-saving effect is guaranteed.
